17. Visitor Data Processing – Notice on the Use of Cookies
17.1. Visitors to the website must be informed on the website of the use of cookies, and their consent must be requested for this purpose.
17.2. Depending on the type of cookie, the categories of data affected by cookies during a visit may include, among others, the IP address used by the visitor, the type of browser, the characteristics of the operating system of the device used for browsing (e.g. the language set), the time of the visit, the (sub)page, function or service visited, and the actions and clicks performed.
17.3. The purpose of the processing is to ensure the functional operation and use of the website, to ensure access to the website's services, to increase the efficiency of the service, to enhance user experience, to make the use of the website more convenient, to analyse the website, and to place and display advertisements.
17.4. The legal basis for the processing is the voluntary consent of the data subject – the visitor – which may be given or refused by ticking the checkbox placed in the cookie bar on the website. The choice is made by ticking the checkbox and saving the choice. It should be noted that if the use of cookies is refused, certain functions of the site may not necessarily work correctly. A cookie does not identify the user directly but rather the device or browser used by the user, which can nevertheless be used to identify the person.
1. Technically indispensable cookies
Without these, the site would simply not function properly. They are necessary to identify the user. The processing period of these cookies relates exclusively to the visitor's current visit – they are automatically deleted when the session ends.
2. Cookies that facilitate use
These cookies remember the user's choices, for example in what form the user would like to see the site. Essentially, they represent the setting data stored in the cookie.
3. Cookies enabling the display of advertisements and related to social media
They collect information about the user's behaviour on the website. They are typically third-party applications (e.g. Google Analytics, AdWords, Facebook). In the case of such cookies, data may also be transferred to a third country.
